Nature

My bees forage on the hedgerows that are all around the apiary. Bill Bryson ( the president of the campaign to protect rural England) said β€˜the hedgerows are the stitching that hold the countryside together.’ It is the plants in the hedgerows that give the bees the early spring forage that they need to build up their colonies. Plants such as blackthorn, Hawthorne, field maple, dog rose, honeysuckle, hazel and ash. My bees also have a huge bluebell wood to forage on and trees that provide food all season long.
