I began my beekeeping journey with just one little colony of honey bees at Chiswick House and Gardens in London. I have remained there, looking after a growing apiary and working with volunteers to improve the habitat for all of our pollinators. Beginning my beekeeping life in an urban area has given me insight into how dependent our pollinators are for sustatinable forage (pollen and nectar). I now look after honey bee colonies for educational projects in London but the bees from which I collect my honey are kept out of London on a private estate.
